Focused on the future

Hippo and Friends is looking to the future!

With plenty of enthusiasm and determination, we continue to raise awareness of the enormous impact type 1 diabetes has on patients and the people around them, and we hope that new scientific breakthroughs will lead to better treatments and perhaps even a cure for type 1 diabetes. Scientific research is very expensive, and through the fund and the non-profit we want to support that research financially. The resources made available to our organisations, current and future and whatever their origin, are managed under the responsibility of Dr Chantal Mathieu, Dr Kristina Casteels and Dr Pieter Gillard.
