Focus on the future

Hippo & Friends aims for the future!

With a healthy dose of enthusiasm and determination, we will continue to raise awareness in society about the enormous impact of type 1 diabetes on all patients and their environment and we hope to achieve better treatments and perhaps even a cure for type 1 diabetes with new scientific breakthroughs. Scientific research costs a lot of money and we want to support that research financially with the fund and the non-profit organization. The resources made available to our organizations, current and future, of whatever origin, are managed under the responsibility of Dr. Chantal Mathieu, Dr. Kristina Casteels, and Dr. Pieter Gillard.
