World Diabetes Day (WDD), November 14, is the day that all types of diabetes receive attention. On this day, the world turns blue.

Every year, November is all about 'awareness' for diabetes. We have listed our campaigns and the attention surrounding them for you.

The lives of all people with diabetes, young and old, are often turned upside down. To draw more attention to diabetes, the Hippo & Friends type 1 diabetes fund, in collaboration with the Diabetes League, has devised a playful action. Do a head roll for diabetes during the Diabetes Awareness Month and support the research.

In this way you encourage people with diabetes. Their lives often feel like a roller coaster.

This awareness calendar should give type 1 diabetes more name recognition and show that these are not children who have eaten too much or are overweight! Type 1 diabetes just overtakes you! The proceeds from the sale of this calendar go entirely to scientific research, prevention and cure of type 1 diabetes.

This little bird helps all hippos cope with type 1 diabetes. 'Hey Hippo' is storytelling in a special way that will appeal to and surprise young and old. Production house AKA de Mensen came up with this exceptional concept, which was given image and sound by animation studio Volstok and musician Mauro Pawlowski respectively.
